Pretty awesome video! This guy did an amazing job! this will be the future of drones with news and much more... they should just legalize the usage of drones already for commercial use. People who are so negative towards drones should see the potential benefits  of using drones.

Really....It is amazing footage and is definitely has a place at some point and under the right rules ....However, there was over 6 lanes of heavy downtown traffic that this pilot was hanging several hundred feet over and comes with 4 sets of kitchen knives spinning at high speed with powerful little motors. Oh, and with 2.9kg of mass dropping it speed will increase if it falls  ...There are bystanders  and firefighters all around and the pilot of the UAV is flying a system that has not proven itself yet and has bugs being ironed out in its software...We are the new comers to the airspace around us and we have responsibilities to go the extra mile to ensure that we are operating in a safe and LEGAL manner...After you get over the amazing footage and take a sober look at what is going on around the UAV it is reckless and anything but Safe...It is because of this kind of footage that we face tighter and tighter regulations and may be banned from flying as is the case in a number of countries.  BTW Commercial use of drones is legal in Canada and are regulated. This guy would be in serious trouble here and would be talking to a judge and heavily fined and making life more difficult for the rest of us.
