I just fly at a local playing field and am happy with the Spark for what I use it for, I also just stick it in the boot when I visit family and just chuck it up for a quick pic or video of us all. It's great for what I need so if you're thinking of buying one look at how you would use it. I don't want it to fly miles so it suits me fine and you would have to be very picky to say the pictures and video aren't great, is the Mavic better than the Spark of course but it's for a different target audience I suppose its like how most of us are happy with videos and pics  from our phone and others want the quality of a SLR, look at the Spark as a flying phone camers LOL.
