What is the correct way to store the batteries.

I have been told that they like to be stored with atleast 50% life in them. Is this true?

Also should batteries be completely drained sometimes and given a full charge cycle?

Around 50% is correct. If the Battery is at full charge it will drain itself dow to the 50% mark after 10 days. just be sure to charge the Battery before flight after it has been drained to the 50% mark. If you do not you will have short flight.
