Hi folks.  First time drone owner so I could just be a moron, but I took out the Spark yesterday and, while using RC, I could not go about an altitude of about 10 meters.  I checked the max altitude settings in MC Settings at it was set at 150 (which I believe was meters, but in any event much higher than I was).  I received the notification and just couldn't fly any higher.

I thought, perhaps, this was a limitation of having the mode for gesture piloting enabled, so I turned it off and still had the problem.  Anyone else having this issue?  Perhaps it's an obvious fix and the answer is right there.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Are you in beginner mode?

As other member stated, you are beginner mode, with time you will get the hang of it!

Thought I'd taken that off, but I'll make sure.  Didn't realize the altitude limit would be THAT low in beginner mode.  Will try and see if this takes care.  Thanks!

It won't fly very high till you get GPS lock
