Off to Portugal next week and cant find much (in English) about local laws.. Anyone flew in Portugal and have first hand experecne in Do's & Dont's. Otherwise im flying with my common sense as per usual and treating it much like UK & Ireland. Is there an outright ban or anything>?
Hello Simon! :-) Yes there are rules you can check them in English in the web site "VoanaBoa" You can also download the app with the same name in order to help you see the places where you can and can not fly in Portugal. One thing you must have in mind is that in Portugal, you can fly but you can not film or take pictures without asking first permission to the portuguese Air Force.
I unfortunately only see the "VoanaBoa" website in Portuguese...
I will be filming so I will need to fill in the papers for the Portuguese Air Force.
At this point, I have no clue where I would like to use the Drone. How detailed do I need to file my papers?
Can I send the papers electronically once I completed them?
