One feature I would love to see is that after you make the selfie gesture, you hold up a number of fingers indicating how many pictures you want it to take.
That way, it just takes up to 5 pics in a row to be sure you get a good one without having to try to do the gesture over and over. Alternatively, just have a different gesture for taking 5 versus 1.

Also, the number of consecutive pictures should also be a setting in the app.
