After a few practice flights in an empty hall we undertook a job inside a factory as part of a corporate video today. The Inspire's P-Opti sonar/camera was impressive in an empty practice hall but in reality flying on ATTI with barometric height in a congested space was preferrable. The sonar obviously compensates for any obstacles underneath so the craft rose and fell when it traversed work benches, P-OPTI handled the bland flooring well though.

It would be great if we could have Optical for position hold and choose if we want sonar or barometric height hold - like you can do with some open source FC's such as the NAZE32

so your RC stays in p-atti mode when you fly indoor. was it drafting?

I deliberately switched to ATTI to avoid the height variation caused by the sonar when passing over benches etc.  obviously it drifts in ATTI mode but it's  controllable after bit of practice
