when I do the box gesture right after palm launch it never works. it only works when I wave it away and it starts following me. but that means I will only get selfies from high up, is there any way to get it from a lower altitude? otherwise I always need to whip out either my phone or the controller.

I can do the box gesture to take photo from a lower altitude, no need to wave it away. Make sure your Spark and DJI Go 4 was the latest firmware and version
