i seen someone yesterday at the park flying a spark in over 60kph of wind hahaha, that thing was holding up fairly well but i would never try it. i don't know if the prop guards would make a difference to flying in the wind but i figured it might?
Thor1...
I believe anything that provides additions surface area for the wind to catch will make a difference.
Probably the appropriate question, is how much of a difference? Is it only a scientific difference, or a real difference? How perceptible is it?
I don't really fly indoors much, other that to test stuff (hover, checking after updates, etc), but would use them outside if I thought I might come into contact with anything that could harm the blades. So far, my experience outside has shown me that I probably don't need to use them.
I always bring them with me, but evaluate each time I fly if I think I should put them on.
Cheers....
