I hear you mate but the issue again is they have all the existing technologies at their finger tip and it is NOT like they were reinventing the P4 to fit in the MAVIC, with the SPARK. They already did that.

BTW, and for the record, I never had any problems with my MAVIC ,P4,P4P,P4P+.

I'm waiting to see fixes, and also to see what people can create first.

If it was a TINY MAVIC like features then yes it is worth $700.00 otherwise it is only a TOY GRADE drone.

Not sure how yuo think the Spark cannot take good photos, the JPG files are as good as the Mavic.

Did you read the specs on both camera before you jumped in? If you are fine with yours then good for you.

This is what I experienced. Filming and moving around 360 in slow motion it took almost 30 seconds for the light adjustments to catch up to the screen. It is unusable, Scrolling up and down with the Gimbal you get the same thing. It takes kind of forever for the light to adjust.

Let's hope it is a FW issue but the lag is killing the momentum!

Ok first day had problem with controller, so calibrated , second day flew it 500meters had full signal but brought it home , it flys great it is super responsive and breaking is better than my other drones but this might be because of its size.
I had no wifi problems except connection to RC and phone no transmission problems the feed was spot on.
I took some photos of nothing really and quality was very good everything in focus and gimbal very steady, I shot some video and again it's very sharp even a little to much but I think with filter it could do a nice job, but best of all is you can download video and photo straight to dji editor directly from sd card with drone turned on there are some cool editing on dji editor and with full resolution you recorded in it looks great.

Quick shot first day managed to work fine raised up to 60 meters, second day was flat , have tried Jedi it works but don't know what I will use that for, definitely quick shot needs refining and initial connection is a nuisance so hopefully they will allow cable connection just to quicken the set up.

But overall I am happy I need to work on something's and with help of some improvements in firmware I think it will be ok.

I only shoot in manual no matter what , when I shoot photos/video I always look to see where the sun is landing its light because that's where the best light is, but for that I also think filter will help, I get what your saying about the change of light and that's a limit of the lens, and will take a bit of trial and error to work this out, it's not something that will bother me , I will shoot some video and see how it works out when editing. But for something I would like to turn out really good I will always use my phantom.

They need to leave something wanting. Something to make people like me decide to upgrade to a mavic2 or better.. if they put the whole lot in the spark, why would I want to? Also, it would probably price it out of range for half the buyers...

Take your car, Mercedes put all the really cool toys in the S class, most of them make it to the E class, less of them in the c, and so on until you get to the A class that has a $69 kindle fire in there;)

well first of all this is getting kind of childish. i just think some people should try and see it from other peoples perspective. clearly you have an awesome collection of dji drones, as you bragged about in a few of your recent posts, and you probably use them for filming or advertising videos which the spark is clearly not built for.

Have i designed fortune 500 companies? the answer is obviously no but i just assumed that this information about advertising and marketing that i mentioned was common sense but i'm starting to reconsider that assumption, maybe ill even start building a few companies since i'm such an expert.

the reason i mentioned about using the mavic is because you said this, "All these newbies think wowwww because they did not see and used the MAVIC or P4.", so it wasn't me bragging it was me telling you that either your wrong or should choose your words carefully when you don't know all the facts. kind of like if i said, "this guy thinks he knows everything, hes so spoiled, his rich parent or guardian(political correct) buys him a Brand new Mercedes and every new dji product he wants, when he don't get his way(say...if the dji spark wasn't what he hoped for) he throws a tantrum."

at this point im just replying for forum points, wouldn't be worth my time if not for that.

Sorry dude, I hear your point, but others might not over the amount of emoji's you're using haha. Let's use our words to better articulate ourselves. Although Thor1 does have a point. This product is not at all geared towards filmmakers or photography professionals. That's very easy to see in the way the advertised the Spark. Just look at the demographic they have featured in the ads. No filmmakers there. Just your average teenager, rock climber, and family making use of a very SIMPLE, elementary, product. If you want all the bells and whistles then obviously many and maybe even yourself would advise others to get a Mavic or a P4 or up. I don't see any progress in talking down on other who bought the Spark as opposed to simply expressing your feedback directly to DJI (although, I guess since this is a DJI forum you're kind of already doing that haha).

Not talking down but I put my 2 cents and some they came back without comprehending what I meant  and started with their... When people knock they  are going to hear an answer.

If you check my posts. I never had any problems with any of my drones and I always gave credit where credit is due to DJI.

Again, this was my review and my opinion. if people don't like it that is fine. This is a free country. I know what I ordered and what I paid for but people kept assuming and blahbing without any ideas about what I meant.

I have friends who spend US$10,000 on cameras for (still) pictures.  I just use my phone.The pictures I want to take are 'snapshots' of family, vacations, etc -- so my phone is fine for me. So for me, the Spark seems great. Small, easy to use, not too expensive, good pictures and video.

Those who who want more can buy more.
