I am running with a controller. I have not tried WiFi mode yet because I am concerned that I may have to Re-Link my controller to ge it back to controller mode. Is this the case?

Technically the RC is also WIFI, but if you're referring to fly with your phone then yes you'll have to play the linking game.

Yes you need to relink, just turn on the spark and hold in the power button, one beep is controller wifi and two beeps is phone wifi, let go on your choice... its pretty easy and I prefer it to the Mavics way of selecting modes

You have to relink similar to the OSMO. If you loose connection, you have to go to WIFI setting choose RC and then try to fly.
