I've been having trouble in two operator mode with signal drop outs on my slave controller. Video drops out pretty regularly making it tough for the camera operator to keep consistent control of the camera.

The master controller works Great and video is great. We stand pretty close to each other, and the iPad air 2 for the slave is set to airplane mode, all apps closed, and background refresh off.

Are there any settings I can do to help improve the controller to controller transmission?

Same issue here!  Doesn't matter if I use my ipad air or my iphone 6....great on master controller, but dropouts on slave controller.

I also have had this issue... Would love to get this solved.

I always thought it was the same video transmission to both controllers. But something is clearly a bit different causing these dropouts to the slave.

We have been having signal drop out as well only on slave controller. DJi says they are aware of it and it will be fixed in a future firmware update.

I have asked in another thread, but no answers and since it seems you all are using the second controller, can you set the speed of the sticks?  I know you can set the speed of the wheel on the controller, but I am wanting to increase the speed of the sticks to camera/gimbal speed.  I know it can go faster just from how quickly it can reset itself, but right now we really have to fly slow just so the camera can pan and keep up.

I really, REALLY which there were the same tuning controls on the slave controller... and to some extent the gimbal follow mode in single-operator mode, as they have in the Ronin. Increasing the dead band to slow control is really needed!!

funny, I slowed mine down because they were too fast.

What did you do to slow it down. I can't find any way (or it's right in front of my eyes) to speed it up or slow it down.

Ya know... I haven't even tried changing the gimbal wheel speed as I figured it would read for slave controller as a controller/stick setting.  I'll change the wheel speed next flight and cross my fingers that is the answer!  Thanks for the replies.

Well, I would like to think of myself as a bright fella, but that didn't work.  If using the wheel, it definitely increases that speed, but not when using the joystick on the second controller.  In the app, it doesn't even show an option for changing the speed on the slave unit.  Any other suggestions?

Yep, you must calibrate the slave speed on the slave tx itself.
There you can calibrate tilt,pan and roll seperate.

On the master its a general calibrate for tilt and pan. (roll only possible on the 2th. tx)
