I am a detail person so I like that. Quite a few people soften it up a bit in adjustments like -1 to -2 seems to be the norm. All depends on what you like.

I like details too, but you get easily moire effects especially when I work with a 2k time line with 4k footage in order to have flesh for lens and horizontal corrections.
Also I got the feeling that premiere add some sharpness after export.

A lot of people soften it up a bit just for those reasons. It is whatever suits your taste. I don't do much video. Mainly still shots so I go for the sharpness.
