Noticing a trend with my new Spark. I have only lost RC link when the drone is fairly close to me. Is there known issue for this. doesn't make sense. It has happned 5 times already in 1 day.

Do you have the bluetooth enabled on your phone? Looks like if the bluetooth is disabled the connection is much more stable. Not sure, of course , that is related to your issue.

I disabled bluetooth before flying. This is crazy. I owned the Mavic and never had connection issues. Why on God's Green Earth did they change the way the controller links to the Drone. Just pure stupidity on their part

I heard that using 2.4G is better than 5G.

"Why on God's Green Earth did they change the way the controller links to the Drone."  That's why the Spark is $499 and the Mavic is $999.  I think that most of us Mavic owners have gotten spoiled and now expect the same results fro the Spark.
