Impressive mod, but overkill for the Spark.

Battery limitations,sort out connection problems though.

Exactly...12 minutes per charge on a battery w/o wind really limits the range.  Beside that, the Spark was designed to be ultra portable and that mod negates portability.

It's a prototype their final is always smaller. For a solid connection and max range of worrying about battery instead of signal I'm excited. the spark is amazing.

I thought it looked a bit frankenstein looking, will buy one when available.

Very tempting since I live in a "CE" country!

If they can get cost around $75 or less for spark I'll buy. If it's $100+ they should include modding your controller

And at the end it will cost more and be bigger than mavic... just buy the mavic...

I think it will still be cheaper then the mavic. Although I plan on getting a mavic as well, but I want their next version. I love everything about the spark and for the most part it seems only a few people are having a lot of trouble. I imagine with firmware tweaks the default setup will be fine. This mod is a worst case scenario or when i feel like tinkering.

Just looking at UK drone laws it would be pointless purchasing this mod,
