I have it on an iPad Air 2.

If I were to try and delete and reinstall the app would my flight history data disappear? Or is that saved and shows up after a reinstall?

Sync your flight records before you re-install the APP, log into your DJI account on the new APP, then sync the flight records on the new APP again. The flight record will be recovered.
