I was one of the very first pre-orders and my Spark was finally delivered last week. Shot this footage over two non-consecutive nights with dramatic weather and edited it over the past few days. Only shot with RC since it offers much better control for smooth footage, plus I need the range.

Minimal levels correction and no colour grading. I really wish Spark had D-Log available and would love to have had 60fps for slow-mo mapped down to 24fps. But overall pretty impressed with the quality for the price.

Just an FYI: Toronto has had a bylaw on the books banning flying RC planes in parks forever. Fly at your own risk!

OP: Awesome vid! Looks like the Spark is just fine for some decent video, despite the limitations. I'm often in that area, maybe I'll see you out there!

I am living close by and corktown common is a place I thought about. The scenic at 2:30 is stunning.

Thanks all for the accolades! Yes, I happen to live in a pretty cool part of the city that isn't busy just yet since it's so newly developed.

Unfortunately our federal drone laws are restrictive enough that pretty much anywhere you fly is illegal somehow. Of course, this won't stop people from flying (whether irresponsibly or not), so I'll just continue flying as responsibly and safely as possible while still getting some great shots.

Great video.  The Spark can take some awesome footage.

That's a great video. The one scene near the end you can see the heavy rain in the distance.
