I'm trying to find a solution to pinpoint where idiots are lighting illegal fireworks from at night. I live in a nice residential area where we have about 10 jerks lighting off powerful explosives year year. Police say they can't do anything unless they know where they're coming from.

Three questions..

1) is there a way to overlay a Google map over the video to determine a location while flying at night. Even in post production? Would prefer real-time though.

2) How high would you have to be to cover an area of about 4 blocks?

3) Is the camera on the Mavic good enough to accomplish what I'm looking for?

I despise the 4th of July and New Year's because of these idiots who think it's ok to break the law.
