Alright here's the problem
No matter what I do when I connect my Galaxy Note 5 via micro USB on the side of my Remote Controller for the Mavic Pro, it won't open the DJI GO app or connect to the Mavic its self.
Here are things I have done to solve the problem but failed.
1. I am definitely using the correct app for the Mavic Pro.
2. On my Galaxy Note 5, I have the following settings enabled
a. Developer Options
b. USB Debbuging
c. MTP (media transfer protocol)
3. All Software on the Mavic, Remote Controller and the app are up to date as of this post.
4. I have tried downgrading all software and even deleting and reinstalling the DJI GO app multiple times.
5. I have tried the bottom USB port on the controller with 5 different cords.
6. When I change the Mavic to Wifi Mode, I can use my phone to connect through the DJI App and everything is fine. Only when I add the controller and RC Mode does the controller refuse to connect to the app on the phone.
7. controller can connect to the Mavic and even fly it, but the phone can't connect to the controller.
8. I have restarted my phone and switched the setting mentioned above a lot of times.
9. My phone can connect and transfer files to my computer with ease.
10. I have done settings reset on my phone and that didn't work either.
My personal thought
I think the problem is with the phone. I think there is some setting somewhere that I don't know about that is messing up my ability to connect to the controller.
I need advice or idea on what I can do to actually fly again.
Has anyone gone threw this? Its really frustrating me.
It's important because I am a commercial flyer.
I will reply back for sure! I need this amazing community of pilots help!
