Is it possible to overcharge the remotes battery? Doesn't the DJI charger prevent overcharging and shuts off when the battery is full? Last night I was charging the remote and I ended up passing out. It may of been sitting plugged in for 2-3 hours. Will it cause harm to the battery at all?

From what I have read online, the intelligent flight batteries are designed to shut off at maximum charge capacity. This should be the same for the controller, I wouldn't see why the remote batteries are any different.

I hope it's the same as the drone batteries. I don't see why it wouldn't be. Thanks for the quick reply.

Depending on your controller, there are 4 lights that display the charging state. When all 4 LED's are off, it means the controller is fully charged. Well, it could also mean that there is an error, but then you would never seen any lights come on.

The battery in my GL 200A self discharges at a very significant rate. While covid was happening I didn't fly for over a year and when I went to charge the battery would not take a charge.
I replaced the battery which I now try to charge only to 80%
Any thoughts?
