Random question.

When you perform a manual take off with your spark and have the engines ideling/props spinning with it sat on the ground, is the pitch/sound from the engines consistent or does it go high then lower

The pitch from mine is high then low then high then low etc. and changes every second or so - wondered if this is normal?

Sounds normal to me, spark props are set at different heights so creating propulsion at slightly different levels, it's just your IMU keeping everything in sync and on the ground, so if front props are pushing wind on back props IMU will be directing back props to compensate, I haven't taken much notice of this myself but it seems a bit noisier to me on the ground and in the air that the Mavic .

Maybe someone can jump in and let us know what noise levels are in the spark.
