I am interested in buying a Mavic---I have a P3 Advanced--Why would I do that??? What are the Advantages of having both?  Should I go for the P4 ++??

I would go for the 4+(pro) a far far better camera sensor and pictures... hands down

Why not? Mavic is really good for traveling and compact use.  I have a mavic and I "had" a P4 and I just ordered a P4A.
