HI  can anyone help please I've just updated my mavic pro .when I take off now and just let it hover my mavic just  slowly rises without me doing anything and if I put the stick Down to lower the drone nothing happens until stick is all the way down and it says drone landing Can anyone help me out were

After the firmware update you should do the following steps before you take to fly.

1.Calibrate the RC stick.
2.Calibrate aircraft (IMU)
3.Calibrate aircraft (Gimbal)
4.Calibrate aircraft (Sensor) by using DJI Assistant 2 software.
5.Compass calibrate the aircraft.

Hope this will solve your issues.

Sounds like a normal behaviour to me. The Mavic will rise to 6m height for the VPS to work properly.

Make sure that the sensors @ the bottom of the MP are dirt free.

A better option than calibrating everything -- which may lead to other problems if done incorrectly -- is to upload the DAT file from one of the flights where this occurred. The instructions for retrieving the DAT file are here, and once you've accessed it you'll need to upload the file to DropBox (or something similar) and provide a link to it in this thread. Once that's done, someone will look at it and may be able to shed some light only why this happens.

The last time I saw a DAT file from one of these it turned out to be a problem with VPS and the problem went away once the owner exchanged his Mavic for one that didn't have that problem.

Had the exact same issue yesterday..... have done full recalibration but have not tested to see if issues have been overcome (yet)
