Some shots from my first week with the inspire, from a professional stand point I think the camera blows but I like how it flys...

Word on the side streets is the Inspire 2 will be out in May with a much better camera and Ground Station.
Of course it will be $800 more but if given a choice, who wouldn't rather have waited and spent the extra cash in 6 weeks.

why would there already be talk of a Inspire 2 when the inspire 1 is advertised as Modular upgradeable system?

Thanks! Like others have mentioned I just try to shoot at the at the lowest iso and shutter speed possible without clipping the highs, s-log is a must if you want to do some fun grading. This was a mix of 24p, 30p and 60p. If DJI would give us a camera with less noise and higher frame rates this thing would be a game changer!

You make a lot more money selling new units than you do selling upgrade pieces.
Like Apple, DJI has learned how to make Big $$$

What street? Is there a link to this? Seems premature given the current iteration has unresolved issues.

I am sure that DJI will come out with a new camera design. I think it might be just a matter of time. its great that DJI  design the camera mount with the option of upgrading the gimbal camera in the future.

Did you scale up the 1080 60p clips that you slowmo'd ?

Haven't got my Inspire 1 straightened out yet. Only 5 months and a new bird!!!

Guess I am out $3K and never got to fly it. A whole new Inspire tells me that the Inspire 1 is FUBAR!!

The first Inspire should cave been call beta not 1
You can still sell it for 2k, it's not like its a total loss as you fear
Plus,  it's only a "rumor" and we all know how they can be, so don't fret my friend.

I don't think people understand that 85% of Inspire users have ZERO problems, it's only the guys with problems that post.
(gives peeps the wrong impression thinking its not airworthy, most problems are "user" induced -

I probably am jumping the gun. So far DJI has taken care of issues and support. I have had DJI Phantoms and they still support them. In fact they recently came out with an update for the Phantom 2.

Yep, can't even tell which are which....

The footage looks fine to me. Great detail and fine exposure.

It's a really great video. Shoot with the Phantom 2V+ camera for a while and you'll appreciate the Inspire's that much more :-)

Really? Not good to spend a lot of time in post. Maybe Jimhare can weigh in on the noise issue? Could it have been the channel that you were using?
