How can I get a copy of the Beta software? My P4P had been fine till yesterday just after I updated firmware on everything. flying 2 ft off the ground to decided to go sideways into my father in-laws truck. Scratched up his paint slightly messed up my blades. Just quit raining here a while ago and getting sunny, going to see how it does now. Thanks for any help.

This Beta firmware release V02.00.600 is for the P4 only, not the P4 Pro.

Sir, I have received message in PM. Double check, the drone you referred is P4, instead of P4P, right? As I also received your message in P4P section, please kindly note they are two drones with different firmware. And the beta we talked here is not related with no live feed directly. Please try to refresh the current firmware and link RC again.

My P4 also has unstable flight issue especially flying forward/backwards in top speed. Camera is shaking and candles be used for my work.

I had a problem of that sort with my P3 Standard. Somehow, the controller lost it's calibration and the right stick was not functioning. I simply re-calibrated the controller and everything worked. The tell tale was when the copter would not start using the sticks when pushe to the middle.

Flew my P4 yesterday for the first time in 4 months, I was disappointed to see that after all this time the firmware issues still exist, nothing wrong with the stability of my P4 but it still cant film in 4K and it defaults back to 1080p/60 since upgrading firmware.  Ordered a P4 Pro at the weekend and I really hope it works properly.

As with the rest reporting on this forum thread, Roy, I'd suggest you PM a DJI support person your DJI account email and request access to the .0600 beta which I can confirm fixes that issue.

Regardless, you'll be happy with the P4P - a much better camera, although mine is a lot louder than my P4. Oh, and there's a beta available for it too. (hehe)

After the upgrade I have t o calibrate the IMU before every flight, then It flies OK, which is a pain when out in the field.

I noticed that on the DJI site the P4 is now discontinued, does this mean no more upgrade, and limited help.

Bob, just to verify, what's the current firmware of your P4? The v.02.00.0106, or the latest beta firmware? If it the latter, please help us export the flight log for better analysis. Thank you so much!

Hello Vendex the wobble that some P4s having is in P, S and Atti mode. Beta .600 made it a lot better for some Drones and some Drones were fixed totally but some still wobbles. Logs from version .106 then Beta .200 and .600 will show that.

Man this forum is getting old at the moment. I drop in every few days to see where we are and all I see is:

Until this new firmware is released and our P4s are airworthy again, I'm struggling to remain a productive member of the forum
