Is it possible to enable sport mode without the controller? I've looked all around the app on searched online but I can't find out how to do it or if it's even possible

I'd recommend waiting to buy a controller until they resolve the disconnect issues. There are several open threads about it currently.

You need the sticks to fly safely in sport mode. Way to dangerous using only the virtual controls. That's why it is not implemented with wifi only.

Hmm... I have never got any issue with RC. Use iDevice, iPhone 6s+ or iPad Air 2. Mount it to the provided clamp for iPhone. For Android, use only those in the Dji tested list.

I got the combo and flew with my phone a few times to test it out. I find the controller to be 100x better to fly with.

Other than a low signal warning every now and then, my controller has been reliable to the point where I'd rather not fly without it.

Try searching PS4 controller with Spark. It seems to be substantially more responsive.

You can, but I think you can not reccord video or take pictures. If you can please tell me how. I did a test some days ago and I couldnt

Could you explain this a little more? I searched google but nothing relevant came up?

Current controller is fine. I have had issues with the spark but nothing to do with the RC. Buy it - its quite nice.

My answer:
Not possible.
And it is not possible. No matter why Dji don't want it, it's just not possible.

I love the controller. It's really easy to use and the Sport Mode function is great.
