What will happen if I put 300 gram objective lens on zenmuse x5s???

Will it work?

Someone asked DJI what the mass limits were for the X5s gimbal. There was no reply from the engineers. Working strictly on assumptions, the most critical aspect is the balance. An out of balance lens forces the gimbal motors to hold the balance, which will use more battery power, if not burn out the motors which are probably not designed for continuous duty. Assuming roll and pitch balance is maintained, the remaining concern is the 300gm, which is twice the 155gm weight of the approved 9-18mm Samyang.   

An I1 can lift over 1 kg of load, a mere 300 gm on a I2 will not be a problem for sure. However, other than balancing issue with the gimbal motor, the shifting of CG with the extra lens on is something to take into consideration as well.
