1. Is there anything we need to do with the internal memory card that is built into theGoggles?

  

2. Does it need to be formatted or will it just start recording over old with the new?

  

3. I am assuming that it is recording live feed just like the app of Phone or Tablet that is tied to the RC?

The goggles has some private internal memory on which are stored the demo videos but which is not accessible to the user otherwise.
Then there is the micro-sd card slot. You can download videos and pics from the mavic to the card, but you manage the space. There is no live feed recording with the goggles.
