Im thinking about purchasing an OSMO Mobile to go along with my S8+.

Could anyone tell me how long would I expect from a single charge from the OSMO battery (or should I purchase a spare) ?

Always purchase a spare lol.
Tbh though, I don't know, I've never fully used a battery whilst using it.

Used for 4 hours, not continuously, at family wedding. Have spare just in case.

4.5 hrs is an extreme time that we tested with the lowest resolution and the gimbal keeps still. The duration will be reduced in actual use. It would be better to have a spare battery.

The osmo mobile was not on continuously for 4 hours. I just used it over the course of four hours.

I get around 2 hours

Like I said, 4.5 hours is the longest duration time that we ever tested. It hardly keeps that long  during actual use. If you have some important shooting missions, prepare a spare one.

Continued use is around four hours
