did the updates as it says ac, batteries, remote,app and now i have lost pan function no matter what i set it on

$2200 for an inspire 1 that now has the camera ability of my p3 pro.ALL TILT!!!! NO PAN!!!! What a piece of crap.Thanks DJI for the wonderful long awaited #$uckdate!

Ok , did you read the Release Notes by any chance before updating ?  it is good form to always read these first before downloading . ( it just says mey loose settings and to make note of them before updating )

Now you may have simply lost a setting.  Lets go over some possible suspects .

First off are you saying you dont have Pan .... exactly when is this ???  On the slave  when filming or just on Master

-On the C1 C2 buttons , do you have the Pan tilt assignment  on these ?  ( under Remote control settings ) If so I would "Not define " them for now  and change after we solve this ,  or make sure the assignment is to your liking from before , If you used it .  ( this will go for most suggestions )

-  On the "gimbal settings " tab go to the Advanced settings , make sure none of the values are set to zero, I would just set them to the Reset for now  ( do it on all three ) .  One of these may be set to low  and Now NO pan .

also do you have the Pan sync enabled ?  If not be sure to enable .

Now double check the  camera , make sure you are In follow mode and not FPV or Follow .  Very Important
You will find the settings on the go app main screen left side with the "Arrow"   Also yo can confirm this on the Gimbal Settings tab of go app, make sure entire system on when checking or you can get a wrong value.  Just make sure on Follow .
You dont have other cameras do you ?  If you do must update with the other camera FW as well.

I think it is going to be a settings change that has you vexed, lets start here and let me know.

WELL I HOOKED IT UP TO AN iPHONE 5 AND IT ALL WORKED FINE. hAVENT GONE BACK TO TRY IT WITH MY TABLET YET THOUGH. GOING TO DO THIS NOW AND SEE THE RESULTS.

Well that would make no sense as the settings are stored mostly in the aircraft and not the G0 app itself .

Now are you running an older version of the Go App on the I phone 5 ????  That could explain it.

Ok , so more than likely you did not have the correct go app to match the AC and the RC.

So maybe you think now it is not  DJI's  fault.....
