Question to the congregation regarding active track..... Does the subject need to be stationary to initiate the active tracking, whether it be trace, profile or spotlight mode?
If the subject was already moving, but it's relative position in the frame staying still with the Mavic already following it, would active track still work? Would a box still be able to be drawn successfully around the subject? Anybody tried this before? TIA

Yes, it works. I've done it with a catamaran already sailing in the sea. My drone was relatively high so the boat wasn't moving fast on the screen and I could draw the box around it.
