After many searches, I've only found speculations for the purpose of the 4 contacts on the bottom of the Spark Battery.
Anybody know if it's a charging dock for the spark, or for future accessories?

Theres a post in the accessory section that shows the charging station - Not released as of yet. Charging without taking the battery off the Spark.

Just look at the dji website. Go on the spark page completely to the bottom. There you you see it.

Doesn't quite work like that. Extra weight without taking into account more powerful motors and bigger  props will impact the flight time more than you think...
