I spent 3 weeks there and I was only able to fly few times because of the high winds and rainy days.
Also my spark kept disconnecting almost every few minutes so I did not want to take any chances.

The day shot the wind was around 8mph. At night it was around 4 mph.

Good idea about filming from the ocean side but again with the constant disconnect I did not want to take any chances.

they are REALLY nice..but a bit of post editing on them and you could really make some of the better ones - NEXT LEVEL

but I don't do post editing. I am more into showing what the camera can do without editing and it is a real struggle with Sparky compare to the MP AND P4's lol.

Great photos - and there's not much you can do about Myrtle Beach itself!

You are right - I only use to shoot raw photos I have since started doing some editing in post and it really makes em pop.

I respect what you do.

I love dirty myrtle. I'll be down in august and October. Hopefully dji will send me my replacement drone by then. Been waiting a long time

Me, am kind of old fashion, like the old days where you only have your camera and that is it. You keep at it and get better and get better pictures thru the lenses. but I like flying these birds too...

Yup...Also they have one of the best sunset. I usually go down there in July and December to check on the properties.

I got you man, but am saying time consuming because I know myself and I will end up spending hours to fix and tweak pictures and videos until it is perfect, not only good but until it is really perfect... {:4_157:}

And that is why I said I will do it when I retire and have more time...

I'm glad you like the edits.  For the beach image, I used Photoshop CS5 with a plug-in called ColorFex-pro from Google (used to be NIK). That program is now available as a stand-alone program and it's free (it wasn't when I bought it!)  

Anyway, a little brightness and warmth, slight polarization and some contrast.

As for the night shot, I used a some 'actions' in Photoshop to remove some of the warmth and add more blue to the photo. Then a noise filter program (called 'noiseless) to take some noise out of the night sky (when the camera - drone or not - bumps up the ISO, noise is a factor) nothing to do about it but try to remove some of it.  Total time spent for both images was about 3 minutes.
