Lovely video. When the 'Big house' comes into view it is breathtaking. The 'depth of field'  is perfect, its almost 3d like. Has that Olympus 45mm lens got a zoom on it or something else which helps to get this effect or can you pass on a few tips to a novice photographer regarding how you got that great footage.

Well I prefer fixed lenses in general which the Olympus 12mm is.

I use a lot the "Spotlight Pro" function in the Go4 app. It gives me the freedom to concentrate on the flight path while the gimbal takes care that the object stays in the frame.

To achieve those kind of 3d impression you need three layers of objects in your composing.
One foreground, the middle which should be the main object and the background.

Finally you need some side way movement so that the foreground will move against the background also known as parallax effect.

Thanks for the detailed response, that will help me to try replicate that effect which is really impressive. Yes the 'Parallax' effect is very obvious on the video and very good to look at. I was meaning the 'Farmer makes haystacks' video, shown at top of this thread, where the really large building is in focus and the parallax effect is very effective. Happy flying,thanks once again for making me aware of this great effect.
