So I have an iPhone 6, and have been using the Mavic Pro for about 4 months now, and it has worked great. I got tired of having to remove my case every time I wanted to use it, so I bought a Galaxy S5 to dedicate to the Mavic (no cell activation, just using WiFi). When using the S5, the video gets real choppy, and sometimes will just freeze for a long period of time while flying. I was not flying more than 500 feet away, and the video never got better as I brought it back to me. Antennas on RC are adjusted correctly. The app always shows that I am connected. Thinking it was a bad cable, I tried 6 different cables, including the short one that came with it, and plugs into the side of the RC, as well as ones that plug into the USB port on the back. I immediately tried my iPhone again to see if was interference, and the iPhone worked fine. I shut off the cell signal on the iPhone, and tried it again using just the WiFi, and the video still worked just fine. I even used a lightening cable from the iPhone to the USB port on the back of the RC, and it still worked flawlessly. I borrowed my girlfriend’s android tablet, and had the exact same issues as the S5. All 3 devices have the latest DJI Go 4 installed and have all been updated, as well as the Mavic’s firmware. In all cases, I never lost control from the RC itself. Are there known compatibility issue with the Android devices?
The devices I used are: iPhone 6 / iOS 10.3.3 Android Phone: Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) / 6.0.1 Marshmallow Android Tablet: Asus ZenPad (P01MA) / Android 5.0 Lollipop
