So I am trying to figure out what is going on.  The Spark will often "disconnect" and the app will freeze... But, I still have control of the drone through the remote.  Thank God I was in "line of sight", so I could "drive" it back.  Also, when I went into RTH, it slowly went the wrong way until I intervened and manually flew it back.

Are these issues absent with the Mavic?  I am still a week away from my return period and I am considering returning it for a Mavic.  

What do you guys think?  

Also, I was flying in an urban neighborhood but the Spark never reconnected.. it is a bit concerning.

I get the same problem with my Spark which is only a week old and I also own a Mavic which is totally reliable drone.  I purchased the Spark just something I can fly close by and LOS  and maybe some indoor flying during winter time.  To add: when I fly the Mavic I totally depend on the ipad to see where I am going(just to give you an idea how far I can fly the Mavic).

I consider the Spark a "toy" considering I own a Mavic and a P4.

When it says "disconnected" does that also mean it lost GPS??

On mine I don't loose the GPS just the video.

I just tried an older Android device.  Before I was using my Nexus 6P, and switched to my Nexus 7 2nd model and have had no disconnects.. much more enjoyable.

I think there are more problems using Android vs iPhone users.  

Perhaps try a different phone or tablet if ya can, Lucas.  

Still on the fence about returning it.. I need to decide soon though.

try making sure you close all apps on your android?
