The last 2 firmware updates my craft has suffered this. What happens is, I start up the remote and craft and everything checks out fine in dji go. If I press the record button on screen, I lose all video transmission and go asks me if I want to return home. If I stop the recording, video transmission is restored ,and if I then press it again , it records fine and video transmission is stable. Any idea what to do about that?

Sorry for the inconvenience, craighuddy. Just to verify, image transmission will get lost and DJI GO app ask for a return every first press of the record button and all will be OK if you press the second time, right? Had you tried another SD card to test this case? Could you please provide a video of this case for a better confirmation? And had you upgraded the firmware to the latest one? If no, I would recommend upgrading it and test if it will work.
