Why is the default RC wifi ferquency 5.8 G?  I switch to 2.4 G and getting better performance and my problem with losing video signals when there is an obstical avoidance alert goes away.  Changing to 2.4 G is not a problem (thanks to hallmark007) but it is an annoyance.  Looks like the software would allow the owner to select the default frequency.

for me it's even worse: I can't even switch to 2.4GHz. I select 2.4, hit APPLY, leave and re-enter the menu and voila: it's on 5.8 again...

Same for me. Can't change. Has anyone found solution?

Did you choose the channel after hitting 2,4Ghz button?

then maybe your phone doesn't support the 2.4GHz mode?
