my friend that has a mavic and he  told me when he register his drone he needed to input his serial number but when i register my spark no serial number was needed. was this also the case for you guys?

You don't need to register with the FAA. Your courts overturned that.

i saw that article, but did not say when it would take into effect. The FAA website also i do not see anything about not registering any more.
