I just chat with DJI online support. Currently only about 50% users got update for DJI go 4 version 4.1.4 for beta purpose (Well, people will said they are not Beta testers, but I don't know, that's what the supporter told me).
And if no issue, they will release full blast on 1st of August.

I think there are side-loader apk around, but I don't believe in side-loader (Not to mention DJI not 100% confident to release to all).

Also, besides 180 pano and gimbal speed that you need to do from phone, other of new stuff on Spark firmware like 4K photos, video gesture, or exit quickshots by moving stick in oppesite direction will be applicable with 4.1.3 as well because it is in Spark firmware, not in the app.

not sure how true this is man, here is SA my play store has nothing but my ios app store on my same account has the update. i think play store rolls updates out gradually through operators, phones and regions

unfortunately, customer service reps usually have no clue. usually less of anidea than we do here on the official forums.     i suggest calling them back or live chatting them again, however you did it.. and seeing what the next person tells you..   dont mention someone else said anything, just repeat it like first call/chat. i bet anything you will have a differant response.

Pretty brave using regular people for betatesters and they dont even know it
IMO 50% is a bit too much for the first run on public. I hope they won't run into any issues and loose their babies due to bugs or similar

Why would they roll it out to only 50% of users?

I have it on iOS anyway.

But it can not be Beta !!

Do you put App Random?Google Play Store and App Store Apply Beta Applications without mentioning it to the user?

Can you be a little more specific, what is soon? Will the update be automatic from playstore or will it require a manual download???

If u have automoic updates enabled it will download if not yes you will have to download the update what is so hard to comprehend guys

I have no problem with the new DJI app. It's with the new firmware. It gives me a gimbal malfunction. I've tried to update every which way and still get the same error.

Only when I downgrade firmware it goes back to working.

you obviously havent read this thread before commenting... its got nothing to do with auto updates

This is common with companies who have large audiences... a log of companies do this with their applications its called 'staged roll-outs' its where the company staggers the release of the Application so if any problems are detected then not the 100% audience are affected. I know with the IOS App Store you can pick a audience to release the update to first, say 10% of all users, the App Store then pushes the app update out to (x) amount of random users.

What I find "so hard" is the random availability of 4.1.4. Playstore refuses to update my 4.1.3 but installed 4.1.4 on my wife's phone. It will not install 4.1.4 on my phone or tablet keeps giving me the 4.1.3 only.....
