I wanted to test the signal connection of the new FW and I was very happy with the results. I ue to get video studder and freezing at about 1600 feet. This flight went out 3100 feet before I came to the tree line I did not want to cross. I was very happy with how the live video connection looked. This was with OTG to iPad Mini4. Video link is the recorded file, I need to learn how to do the screen recording so that I can share the telemetry view.

You can update your iOS device to iOS 11 beta. There you can use the build in screenrecorder. Ios11 works perfect with the Go App 4.

not bad!    im still on the fence about if i should get another spark and try again (i really love the size and the feature packed nature of it) or get a Mavic Pro.   

i know the Mavic Pro is vastly superior in tech.. but the spark is so tiny and so capable for its size.. plus the spark (when it behaves) can really sneak around things a lot more...  like i was able to butter the bread right through power lines , my woman was in control and asked for help  freaking out, imagine my surprise to see she was straddling 4 power lines! luckily the spark didn't decide at that very moment it hated life and it stayed with us while i was able to slip right through... its this types of things the lure me back to the spark....

ipad was on airplane mode, connected with OTG.

It is now the public beta 3. Works pretty well. Go and try it.

Until the beta comes through you can use quick time player on a Mac with your iPhone connected.

But then you can't OTG

Upgraded to 11 beta 3 last night. Will try the screen recording sometime soon!

Great stuff. Saw a 10,000 feet flight the other day, some decent range for such a little bird!

I pushed mine to 1 mile yesterday!
