I just spent some time to address my app visibility.

Off the shelf...these hoods don't work well because so much light bleeds in through the bottom causing glare.

A little thick, black, construction board and some Velcro.

Now I can see my app almost perfectly.

With the iPad Air-2 I have no problem working the app. with this attachment.

Just like normal. The picture shows it tilted down more than when actually flying. It doesn't interfere with stick controls at all.
