I hope you can help me out.
Just got back from 2 weeks of sun and sea in Greece.
Shot around 100 GB of raw material on the Mavic (4K 24 fps)
Now i ran into a small conversion problem when i want to make my holiday movie on 1080P

When i dump all 4k footage in FCPX it converts it into 1080P.
It all looks pretty good but when i render it out the quality is like a greek salad with lots of feta,......and i hate feta.
The quality is really bad.

How should i do this in FCPX?

it should not convert it to 1080P unless you have your project set to import it that way.
