is there any test result from this extender?

This coming weekend will do.

I personally want a single  box style antenna if I mod mine.  Not this individual style ones..

I don’t mind modding my controller, considering I used to mod Playstation 3 and 4 controllers for friends, this looks 15x easier...  anyone have those single rectangle stale antenna boxy things instead?  I’ll post a link to one I seen on a phantom controller once later on if you need it.. I’m on my iPad not my laptop.

yesterday 1 battery normal and sport mode.. wind:  High-veryhigh. 13 min and 3500+ meters

My friend has tested this morning in CE mode no OTG cable 800+mt  but it was a new area.
I asked to test where it came to 1km with standard RC.

Do more test fly and try use the Panel antenna.

i really hope someone comes up with an extended battery..  from my, fairly crappy unscientific testing the spark can "safely" take off with extra 150 grams of weight..   200 grams is possible as well, but i feel like 150 grams extra battery weight is probably safest..  that's a bit over 5 ounces.. or basically another battery then some..

My friends test only 200mt+ with antenna...and with panel disconect 100mt hard fly with this panel.

I have again standard antenna...

Panel antenna very direction, during the fly panel need to always pointing with aircraft direction.

Because i do not always FCC enough, i want 2km everywhere not only in some areas, i guess not arrive at 2km everywhere

You will get same as everyone in usa for example?

I meant that you in UK with Hack FCC do not always get 2km (in all areas). I do not want to get to 10000km but have a solid signal in Europe without using FCC (illegal in Europe !!)

so not that much more then rated 2,000 meter (2KM) rated range for FCC. hmm..  still, its interesting.     
just did the math, thats like 9,000 feet...  hmm...    i seen non modded configs getting 10K feet which is almost 2 miles..    wonder what causes such interesting variations in range..

It can reach up to 3km but you have to take your own risk because the battery life.
If you want your aircraft return to the home point safe then when DJI Go app prompt you return home. Otherwise your aircraft will say BYE BYE to you.

well my batteries dont seem to be that negatively impacted by sport mode if i'm steady and stable going out over 1 mile and returning.. usually leaves me with around 10 minutes of power left... the real killer is stopping and going..  

also im far from worried, between amazon's no question 30 day return and refund policy and my insurance i have on my spark covering everything including total loss, if it fell out of the sky, my only worry will be to make sure it didn't hurt anyone or damage anything..  only worry.. statefarm will just cut me a check for it.. if it falls apart and i have all the pieces amazon will allow me to return it.. so either way again im covered..

You could do it with a "spotter" in about 2.5km distance, for safety maybe in 2k distance.
With resetting the RTH-Point during the flight to that position, you could go on, and on, and ...RTH!

Btw, did I miss the results of these Mod?

Thx for making the video... but would be nice to compare same flight with normal antennas

so conclusion: double the range?

i try today: 5.8ghz (CE area)without OTG standard Antenna 150-200mt.modded antenna 650mt.

Separate policy.  Ask your agent about it.  Some angents or states may require a specialty underwriter.  But I was told that is no deductible.   At least on first claim, my policy covers $1400 worth of spark and spark extras..   but it’s cheap! 30-$60 per year on avg.  I pay $50/ year.    I believe it slots in underneath personal property insurance.   And yes they cover everything, stolen, total loss, broken.. anything short of DJi’s direct fault.

This I got the other day and it's almost doubled my range, I got it out to 3000 feet or so before losing connection and it coming back. Really happy with it!! I don't think I need it to go much further than that!!

2,4ghz with OTG cable in FCC mode.
In 5,8 ghz i can reach 3km and the video quality is much better.
