Just did the lattest update switched the drone into phone mode after then went to switch back to rc mode and the rc won't connect. Do you have to re-bind the radio everytime you switch back to rc mode because that would get really anoying really fast as it is changing from phone to rc seems painful. Couldn't just simply put a switch on it like the mavic DJI?
I'm finding the whole spark expereance a bit painful to be honest...

I'm not sure what do you mean by re-bind?? Anyway, it is in someways to trigger spark to connect to remote wifi rather than broadcasting the SSID instead or vice versa. is either hold power button for 3 secs (1 beep) or 6 secs (2 beeps)

Bind is a common term in Radio control and is the process of connecting an Rc Transmitter to a RC receiver and in 99.9% of the RC world you only ever have to do it once or if you are having radio control issues you re-bind to see if that fixes the issue  , not every time you connect.

you do not have to re-bind it every time unless, you connect directly to your phone after every time you fly.

when you push the power button for 3 seconds to bind to controller or 6 seconds for directly to the phone its the same as on the mavic when you have the wifi /RC switch on the drone. this basically is to tell the drone what signal to look for, either the wifi or RC.

Yes u do have to re bind if you want to fly with the controller again as for now it has bind with your phone. So while the quad is powered on and On The Ground hold the power button for approximately  3 seconds you will hear one beep Let It Go then on your remote hold the 3 button combination while the remote is on...so its pause, fn and rigjt hand side last button behind camera button you have to hit them exactly in sync you will hear it start to beep let it beep until the green turns solid and you are good to go now if you want to fly back on your phone hold the power button for approximately 6 seconds 2 beeps... that's it then look for your WiFi network on your phone for the spark
