Hello everyone i have a question, whats the difference between 5.8ghz and 2.4ghz frequency on the remote/spark, and what would be the ideal frequency for flying further distance/ altitude?

2.4ghz could be better for further distance and altitude.

Why is the RC always on 2.4 when using OTG and cannot be switch to 5.8?

Mine is aleays stuck on 5.8 otg.   Wish i could pick 2.4!

On new firmware the only way to get OTG cable to work is to turn off the app plug in the cable and let the app turn itself. I I chose the 2.4 and then plug OTG cable it doesn't work. If I connect through Wi-Fi and then plug OTG it won't work nigher. Before update flying with OTH was a lot better, now the video signal is bad, it must be due to auto 5G after plugging in the OTG before DJI app but there is no other way. Simply I have a choice of 2.4 without OTG or auto select with it.

Why does Spark always start in 5.8? Is there no way to set 2.4 as default?
