I haven't used the mavic for some time and when i went to use it was promted to update wich was successfull .Problem now I can't get any further distance or height than beginner mode wich is switched off .Distance is set at 5000m and height 400m  Any thingI am missing

Try logging out then back in to the DJI app, there are forced limits unless your login is recognized.

If signing out and signing in again doesn't help, remove app, reinstall app and sign in again on you account.There are many posts here on this forum about this "problem"...

Ooooooooooo! Always keep your User ID / Password information in a hand written log in a safe place,

Try to re-install the APP, make sure the APP is up to date, then sign into the APP, see if it works.

You can use your email address to register a new DJI account, then sign in the APP with your new account.

... seems to me it must be easy for a moderator or administrator to retrieve someones emailaddress... database of registered users is getting enourmous when we keep creating new accounts every time we forget our login credentials...

I use a simple exel-sheet to keep track of login-credentials... stored on a safe place (no not in a cloud)...
