I guess, that needs clarifying then. I'm glad your dealer is fine. All I can say, the distribution of the prop locks to my dealer never happened. I ended up having to purchase from another shop. It would be a shame and an unnecessary delay to go through this approach again.

No kidding , so every thing that gets changed or upgraded should be free ? Too funny , sounds like whining to me just to get more free upgrades as they develope, a few people whined when the phantoms would get a new upgrade thinking they should be awarded more free stuff ...

Perhaps you need to hold your dealer's feet to the fire. Is your dealer a certified DJI distributor? If not, that might be part of the problem.

I understand your loyalty, I really do. But why on earth would you want to do it that way. It doesn't make sense. You are just adding delay and adding to the carbon footprint.

I'm not sure I understand your reply... What doesn't make sense?

What delay? They won't be available until mid-April. In that time you can contact your dealer and see what the problem (if any) is.

If memory serves you had to enter your serial number the first time that you did your Firmware update and download the Pilot program.

My dealer doesn't keep track of who bought, so that wouldn't work here.

I bought mine from B&H Photo and I received the prop locks automatically from them when they were released. You may want to find a new Dealer?

Just an FYI - I checked with my dealership, CopterShop, and they confirmed that they will be getting the upgrade kits which include six new 1345s props and will ship them free of charge when they arrive mid-April.  FWIW - I really have had great experience with the CopterShop, and they got the prop locks out fast when DJI issued that fix.

I believe this is the next best thing to do. DJI knows how many units were sold to the dealers, but this is my best guess on the matter.
If you registered your products on your DJI profile, then DJI knows what you own.  You can add your shipping address to the DJI account information and this way they will have it.

It would be nice if DJI would make an official announcement as to what they are going to do.

I have tried to look at this myself and cannot find it either. If you put the same serial number in the registration form, it will say the number is already registered . I think we need someone from DJI to help us on this one,

I believe they both (standard and 1345s  E800) had Carbon Fiber in them... Certainly the new ones do have "infused" carbon Fiber with plastic, and looking at the standard ones the material looks the same and feels the same.
