I have cell data on my iPad and I have tried with and without the OTG cable. I am picking up 13-18 satellites, compass works good, RTH is working and GPS shows to be working but the map is only a grey box. I used to have the GPS map but now it's gone

I made sure I am updated on the latest firmware too.
Any suggestions?

When u click on the map and hit the botton that looks like 2 sheets of paper (layers) hit satelite what happens?

Here is a screen shot from hitting the satellite or hybrid view on the sack of papers looking icon while in map mode. I have full cell service

How do you put radar and map together?

I had the same problem, map remains grey... When I install DJI Go on my IPad (4 mini), noticed under General Setting 3 options, China Mainland, Cache Map and Flight Record (or similar)

After, only had option for China, no more Cache !?!?

I deleted the App, reinstalled and is working. Before the flight, I load the map with WiFi or Hotspot (4G)... During flight, App is using map from Cache

install DJI go 4 now!!

Please check the following info:
1. Could you load the location name when you attempt to zoom the map out to load the map of other districts?
2. Please check could you load the map of your location on your iOS device without a problem, and try to check again when you change it into satellite version.
If the answer to the first question is no and the second question is yes, please provide us with your device and drone's model, app's version for us. Thanks in advance.

That "requires more cellular data" message is just a warning. Tap ok and app will use cell data to download map

If you choose cancel, the app will assume you don't want to use your data and won't download the maps

I looked at my flight records and the map works great there and even shows my tracks. I just need this when I fly. Looking forward to getting this fixed

I went out and flew  this evening. While in flight I switched to the " find my drone" page. While there, the map opened and tracked perfectly.

Thanks for the feedback. So you are using Spark and app's version is 4.1.5, but may I know the iPad model? I'll help to forward this to our engineers about this case.

After deleting and reinstalling the DjI4 app my map is working again

We have this fixed in the latest version. Please update your DJI GO 4 app.
