Motors dampers are eaten after 5 to 10 flights. These small rubber pieces are too weak and not strong enough to support the tork et the vibrations of the motor. I had an issue where all 4 dampers are full filed on a motor and the result was a very unstable flight and a big noise.
I mind that this fixing system is to be upgraded by DJI. Inbetween i correct this by mounting 3 o-rings in place of the rubber damper, one under the bottom piece et two up the bottom piece of the motor. O-rings are EPDM inner dia. 3 mm, height 2 mm. This solutions is much more rigid and seems to be a sustainable solution.
I already purchased the dji updater directly from dji china..but i cant move on because im still looking a link or videos in doing so...can any body from DJI to provide a videos about this matter?..thank you
I cant find videos in the internet/youtube in how to change the 6 original mitors/frames of the S900 to E1200 S900 pro tuned propulsion system and to changed the green led lights to red led lights...may i request from DJI to post videos?. Thank you in advance
I got a chance to fly my S920 today with the E1200 propulsion system. It was great! My initial tests were over asphalt and it was light. I took the GH4 gimbal and camera off and only had my FPV camera through the Lightbridge on. I used the default gains and had no issues at all. Punch outs were a little slow but that may have been because I was in GPS mode. Full down descents were only coupled with very light flutter at the end. My android phone crapped out do to heat half way through the flight and so I don't have any telemetry to explore the efficiency. Tomorrow I will be flying with my GH4 gimbal and camera. Looking forward to it as my GH4 is now working through my Lightbridge and outputting to my Atomos Ninja Blade. I should be a great day!!!
